Today I am going to give an review on Tata Consultancy Services Ltd where I am currently working. This company has founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1848 and it is one of India’s most respected institutions today.

To help customers achieve their business objectives by providing innovative, best–in–class consulting, IT solutions and services, and to actively engage all stakeholders in a productive, collaborative, and mutually beneficial relationship. TCS' ability to deliver high–quality services and solutions is unmatched.
They are the world’s first organization to achieve an enterprise–wide Maturity Level 5 on both CMMI and P–CMM, using the most rigorous assessment methodology – SCAMPISM. Additionally, TCS’ Integrated Quality Management System(iQMS) integrates process, people and technology maturity through various established frameworks and practices including IEEE, ISO 9001:2000, CMMI, SW–CMM, P–CMM and 6–Sigma.
The work environment is very friendly and the managers and the senior employees are very approachable on the job.People are very cordial with each other and that is very helpful.The work pressure depends varies from companies to companies. The bad aspects of this company are the processes are not fixed. Personally I have been transferred to different processes as the processes have been ramped down.So, this hampers the growth of an individual as he does not get an chance to perform in one particular process.
Also, the appraisal cycle needs to be better as compared to other top rated Indian multinational companies.It is relatively quite slow and needs to improve. Other companies also have a bonus policy in the packages which are given to the employees.That has to be included in the Tata Consultancy Services Ltd in the business processing output Industry. So in totality, this company is good in relation to the work environment and ability to deliver high–quality services and solutions but regarding the appraisals, it needs to improve.
People who need job stability will not be disappointed.
