Second time in last one year I ordered for Healthcare plus policy. My money was immediately withdrawn on 27th December 2009 after taking c redit card number on phone.But policy document(SHC 10000007013)has not been sent till date.
Every time call centre agents give different reasons, different dates of dispatch and agency of disptach but none arrived till date.They did not send evidence of dispatch also when asked.Fed up I cancelled the order.I was aksed to wait for atleast 7 days again.Hence till 15th Januray my money is being used by Tata AIG interest free and refund is not in sight.They have not replied to any messages excpt computerised reply.
Early in 2009 similar story was exactly repeated by them .This clearly means it is their practice to tell wrong things, lie, harass customers, delay and not send policy.Though they promise within 7 working days.
Can any one buy a health insurance type critical product and rely on such company for claim settlement fairly and in time? Choice is yours.
Most funny thing is that policy has only one provision for daily hospital stay charges and not any medical treatment reimbursment charges? So it is basically a hospital/hotel rental reimbursement type of product.Very funny.
When incident happens twice in one year it is not coincidence or odd case.It shows bad management.
I am now fed up writing to them and have left to god if my money comes back.
Avoid such products and companies if you can afford.
