I have a very bad experience with TATA AIG car insurance. On your car accident, they don't approve the full claim and they just listen to their highly unprofessional surveyors. Their surveyors never talk to you, never visit the accident site, never talk to any 3rd party owners/ drivers involved in the accident for getting the truth about the accident claim and give incorrect information to their Claims Department and Customer Grievance Redressal. They never pick up your call and communicate via repair service center ONLY. You pay a high premium for your car insurance to get peace of mind but when you really need them for the accident claim approval, they do your torture. Really unprofessional.

This is totally false. By buying car insurance from TATA AIG, you lose your peace of mind by trying to catch their surveyors, agents, representatives, etc. They do not talk to you and you just keep losing your mental peace every moment.
I saw Policy bazaar recommends Tata AIG and rating high. But it is all false and fraud. Policy bazaar should not support that kind of company who is doing really bad business.
NEVER EVER BUY YOUR CAR INSURANCE FROM TATA AIG, IF YOU NEED YOUR PEACE OF MIND.

Case: I had a minor car accident during my last India trip in March mid when I was driving from home to Jaipur International Airport. On JLN Marg, Jaipur the front car pressed sudden break and my car hit that car rear RHS damaging my car front LHS and due to my sudden break press, a bike from rear side hit my car damaging rear LHS to RHS bumper and LHS Tail-lamp. In this accident, my car got damaged from the both, front and back sides. Initially, they only approved front side claim but once I submitted photographs for the rear side hit by the bike, they approved my vehicle rear bumper damage only and said they can't approve rear LHS Tail-lamp damage in this claim and suggested a foolish option that if I want to claim my vehicle rear LHS Tail-Lamp, then I should submit another claim form. Do you know why they suggested it? Because I have zero depreciation car policy plan and zero depreciation is only valid up to 2 claims. So, they wanted to waste my 2nd claim zero depreciation just for my car rear LHS Tail-Lamp repair. Can you believe it? Whenever I call them, their surveyor, their agents, their representatives, never pick up the call. I almost lost my peace of mind. Their Deputy Manager-Customer Grievance Redressal and Deputy Manager Claims - Auto gave me the same response again and again by replying my emails saying "We regret our inability to consider the damages to the LHS Tail-lamp in the current claim.". No logical reasoning/ no evidence/ no analysis on why can't they approve my vehicle rear LHS Tail-lamp repair. My vehicle is there in the Sonak Toyota, Mansarovar, Jaipur repair service center since last more than 4 weeks for small repair work without rear LHS Tail-lamp repair. I am not going to accept it and decided to send them legal notice and let the court decide it based on the truth/evidence.
The height of unprofessionalism happened when they asked for my original signed claim forms even though I have declared my brother as Nominee by giving my car power of attorney to him and the same was used during buying the car insurance policy but not accepted during the accident claim submission. Forcefully, I sent my original signed claim forms from the USA by paying USD 79.15(INR 5, 529.00) to FedEx International Priority courier service. They can sign the car insurance policy with Nominee by accepting car power of attorney but not during accident claim submission. Really unprofessional.
I will never recommend them.
