We went to the New Tamarind Restaurant part of Tamarind Hospitality Pvt Limited sometime last week. The place is really nice and cool. The food is out of this world - quite literally. Everything on the menu was to die for(really) and the staff are extremely courteous. From the time we went in to the time we left, they were extremely gracious. Kudos to the team for taking care of this most important factor as compared to many other restaurants and clubs in Bangalore.
We didn't sample any of the desserts - we were stuffed, pretty much like the stuffed capsicum we had there. Yeah yeah, we get you, we did have chicken as well and it was beautifully cooked. The bread basket with a mix of naans, kulchas, rotis were simply marvelous - not rubbery or dry. No we did not opt for butter naans in case you were wondering about the dry factor. Yeah it was relatively high the pricing, but when you think about it you get
a. Value for money
b. Nice ambiance
c. Courteous staff
d. Comfortable seating
Good eh? One thing I would suggest though is that they increase the lighting especially for elderly people who cannot read the menu in the dim light. Or have dimmer switches.
