I went to a dealer after spending a few days in the sweltering nights in Delhi. He only had a SYMPHONY JUMBO cooler. He didn't have the Jr version, so purchased it without even considering the size aspects. Turned out that this is a desert cooler meant for halls and restaurants. However, it did effectively work in the room in Delhi where it was hellish earlier.
The cooler gave good performance for the last summer, yet to use it in this one since I shifted. The cooling pads and cooler definitely need cleaning after a single summer's use. The Company's claim that the cooler runs on an inverter too is hum bug. On a 750 Kw Inverter, it overloads the inverter and shuts it down as soon as you switch on another light.
It can carry a lot of water in its belly, the overall look, feel and the performance of the cooler is appealing. Medium speeds combined with the ceiling fan are adequate to cool the room, of course ventilation aspects need to be ensured. Its more effective close to a window and best if fitted into one. On high speeds, the cooler gives amazing air, you wouldn't feel the heat of Delhi ever.
I recommend buying this cooler for a larger hall or room.
