So, I bought my swatch watch from elgin roads shopping mall. I took my time to buy this watch. I had previously heard a lot about swatch and it's brand.But now when I went to buy a watch from them I felt that they were selling really good watches for comparatively less price. I was very very happy, as I had thought these watches would have a starting from 10 to 15000, which some of the watches surely do! but even so, I had saved enough money to buy one! I was determined.so I went on the search to buy one, wherever I went I couldnt find a showroom for this watch, I was very surprised. I then went to "Prime Watches" one of the very few authentic luxury watch retailers. Even they didnt have!.but then I finally went to Forum Mall where I found the "Swatch Showroom", I was lucky, as I later on found out because the company people told me that when the battery expires then I should go to south city mall "Prime Watches" to change my battery and not the salt lake city center showroom of "Prime Watches". I knew there must be a reason and later on when I did enter the showroom and saw how many basic services were charged, I thought it's a much better deal to go to the south city mall showroom.
The Battery: I havent changed the battery yet, it's going strong.
The build: The watch is very strongly built, it's made of plastic and it's water proof as well! so no problem at all when it's raining like cats and dogs and my watch is getting wet, I dont have any worries, I just wipe it off and go about my day. The straps are made of rubber and please dont be fooled when I say "rubber" like the rubber you get from Titan watches or Q&Q watches. This rubber has till date never cracked! not once, come rain, sun or sweat.it carries on!.just apply light soap of any kind and rub it with a wet handkerchief and all the dirt will go away from underneath the strap!
The Weight: I thought the watch was going to be heavy as its of plastic and the machine is quite big inside. But its reallly light, you dont even realise that you're wearing a watch until you want to see the time. Its just super light and thats what I like about a watch, you shouldnt feel that you are wearing a watch.
The watch: This watch I bought is very simple but has a lot inside it. It has a day and a date and simple hours and minute hands and a beautiful blue dial! the colour of my watch is deep blue with green hour and minute hands and the numbering is also in green! its gorgeous! and when people see it they think it's cheap nockoff of some watch and thats the best part! hahaha.its a beauty to look at, a perfect timer! never once does it go slow or fast! never fast! and the its worth the money!.this watch just keeps on going. And the best thing about this watch is, it goes with everything! I wear it at work and go for jogging and walking and to just do simple things everyday! it's never out of place!
If you are someone who is looking to buy a watch other than titan or it's other watches and you want a lasting watch, which keeps on going, like a duracell battery, then swatch is the way to go!
The only Con about this watch is, YOU CANNOT FIX THE WATCH! yes, you read it right, if you're watch machine has some issues, then you cannot fix it, you need to throw it away for sure, cause nobody is allowed to open this watch and you basically cannot open this watch, it's made in such a way. It's one time use ONLY. But the fact of the matter is, this ISN'T your titan or any other watch company.this is "swatch" and swatch hasnt made its mark in THE world by making watches which go kaput! after a few years, No, they havent. So, I can safely say, it's going to go on for years to come! the only thing that needs to be changed is the battery!
So if you are someone who is looking to buy a watch, please go for this watch, you will never have a headache, for sure!
