Review for the Koramangala Branch - WORST SALON YOU CAN EVER VISIT
First of all, I would like to address this to all the people reading this and the management of Straight Studio that I am not the kind of person who has problem with everything and takes social media to vent the anger and write a bad review. Honestly, I do not post reviews until its very good or extremely bad. But my experience with this salon forced me to do it. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a salon! I am writing this review as a warning to other people not to part with their hard-earned cash at this salon.
Now starting with the review while searching on the web I came across this salon’s advertisement for smoothening. I was planning to go for it for a long time and so I decided to go with them after visiting their website. I opted for the package which had smoothening, post wash, 2 hair spa and haircut.
I took the appointment and reached on time given by them but when I reached the salon to my surprise it was no where like the one that I saw on there website. It was such a tiny space with hardly space to keep three chairs. Anyways I told the manager about the package and she asked me to wait for 30 min.
Although I was not very happy with their behavior but still, I said ok and went out to kill the time. I called them after 30 min and they said it’s still not vacant. Ahhhh finally after 45 mins they asked me to come for the treatment. To my surprise the whole salon was filled with fumes of keratin treatment since it is a very small space and above all there was no AC since they had some issues with electricity. Okay understood these things can happen. Anyways I spend more than 4 hours in that room without any AC or fan.(I had to literally ask for water since they even did not have courtesy to offer us even water after making us wait for like 50 min.).
Anyhow the treatment was done. It was ok. Not much to say about the process. After the treatment I was encouraged to do the hair wash at home(which was included in package). The lady manager told me I can come for spa after one month.(that too when I asked).
Extreme hair fall after the treatment. But not complaining about it.
The real problem started when I went for spa. I asked the lady when can I come for spa, she said 11 to 5.(nothing else mention). I went on Sunday at 12 and told the lady I have come for my 1st spa. I never felt welcomed by the salon staff. I got the vibes that I was disturbing them. The manager literally said it can’t be done as she had many customers. Since my friend(who also has taken same treatment) had a class to attend I told to start with hers first. After much arguments she started the spa(as if she was doing some kind of favor). In the meanwhile, I asked her to get my spa started in between whenever any stylist gets free. I waited for like 45 min requesting her to start the process since I had my husband and kid waiting. The manager was incredibly rude to me. I kept on requesting and she asked me to come after 3(nobody from the staff even offered a chair and all the time I was just standing). I told her that I stay 15 km far and its not easy to come again and again. She bluntly said it was not possible. Literally I requested her many times telling her about my problem but she was one awful rude lady. I was in tears after her rude, insensitive behavior. I left because I felt so weird at how people can be so unprofessional and really did not know what to say because I have never met such incompetent, unprofessional and rude people before.
I would like to add that she was not giving the treatment for free. We already had paid in advance for the package and after getting money you people treat your customers as beggars. You can make customers wait for hours and if someone gets late by even minutes you behave like this. This is so unprofessional and mean.
