Watched the movie in INOX 3 weeks back.
Plot lacked ingenuity and depended too much on characters of Starwars to survive, than a powerful script. J.J Abrams just tried to pick events from previous movies and stitch it to create another movie!
Plot goes like this: As usual there is an uprise of black powers in the Galactic empire(First order); As earlier the resistance try to find the saviour Jedi(Luke Skywalker). As earlier a person discovers the unique powers of jedi. Some chasing+ fighting sequences just like old movies just for the heck of audio visual effects and Kylo Ren who is the dark power killing his father Han Solo(like in an older story) etc.
It is quite evident that they want to create another one from where this movie ended. I would not mind watching the next one, provided the movie has a strong plot. However, that is not the case with this movie.
This is sad!
Disney better take up the story which was originally written by George Lucas or stop producing any more Star Wars movies.
