*Race Day :- 21-Jan-2007
Race Category :- Half Marathon 21 Km
Rate Time :- 6:45 a.m
Place :- Azad Maidan opp C.S.T Railway Station
*I had catch 5:35 a.m Local Train to reach C.S.T station. After reaching there I can see so many people geared up for Marathon including boys, girls and even old man & women.
When I reached the ground it was dark but I can see huge crowd gathered to run for Half Marathon. We started running and I can see Media person trying to take best photographs for their news paper.
I had seen one person wearing King Dress and he has done makeup like he has been injured in war and on his back he has stick the message which was like "I am injured but still I want to run the race "
When we reacher marine drive there were lots of people were there to cheer us up and Navy person were using the Band to encourage us. All over people were running and no vehicle on Mumbai road.
There were good number of female runner and I was amazed to see their stamina and they were cometing man. I could see one old man who had good stamina and was running in constant speed.
After reaching half mark I got tired but I knew that I have to finish the race. It is important that one must drink lots of water which was available on both the side of road.
I had my digital camera with me and I wanted to take best picture while running, which I did and also took few video while running.
This was my second half marathon race which I had finished in 2 hrs and 20 min.
After I finish the race, there was dream marathon event where people were wearing all kind of funny dress and people from all walks of life had enjoy that event.
I had seen Vinod Kambli from close where he was running for some charity. Energy level was high and I got more confidence after completing 21 km.
Every year mumbai marathon attract lots of internation participant also.
