Careless attitude. Review on Standard Chartered Bank

This is based on my personal experience on applying for a home loan. Altough I?ve been reading ?not so good? reviews about this bank, the only reason I even thought of applying for a home loan from standard chartered was because of the ?Home Saver? scheme.

Fortunately or unfortunately I couldn?t really go that far to get my loan processed, in fact I was not able to get an appointment fixed with their executive to get the loan sanctioned even after calling the bank not once or twice but thrice.

In this competative home loan world where banks actually run after you than the other way around, This bank is not bothered at all.

Secondly they dont have any branches in the suburbs (closest being vile parle), so if anyone living around borivali & beyond will have some travelling to do. I however applied to HDFC & got my loan sanctioned immediately & disbursement in a couple of weeks time (check out my review on HDFC)
