Patkar College
I always dreamed of getting into this college as I've been living exactly opposite to that for like 8 years or so. I'm sharing my views about the junior college.
The junior college has two branches, aided and un-aided. Aided one is really cheaper w.r.t. fees as compared to un-aided one, but actually it's your call whether to settle for high fees or rotten wooden tables in labs.
I did get admission to FYJC electronics in 2012 and kinda did ok with 86.46% in HSC examination. College experience was horrendous. Many teachers didn't have the appropriate knowledge of the topics they were teaching, had mother-tongue influence in the English they spoke. Practical labs were the finest I've ever seen, with cool granite tops of tables.
All professors were very supportive in case of practicals. But vocational practicals were always a pain regardless whether it was computer science or electronics. College offers only these two.
My tuition classes were best-of-the-lot types hence I could score what I did. Thanks to college again, as they were not much strict about attendance. That's what matters if you really wish to score well in JEE mains or so.
