Below are a few of the observations from my experience with The GREAT Sri Ram Hospital (KR Puram) where I made the mistake of planning the delivery of my kid - 1st Jan 2021.
Choose this Hospital at your OWN RISK.
.Even Single Syringe needs to be purchased at MRP in the Pharmacy and the attendee needs to run all the time and purchase the medicines at his own cost which is completely unacceptable.
.For Delivery, they usually mention it as a Package before admission, but it is not the fact in reality.
.In Pharmacy, there will be one or the other medicines which wouldn’t be available for which we need to run to nearby pharmacy stores.
.They will charge all the medicines at only MRPs (not even paisa less than the MRPs) whereas other nearby pharmacies voluntarily provide a 10 % discount. Point to be noted.
.The Wards (including the Deluxe ward don’t have the basic curtains for the patient’s bed which is a mandatory requirement even for a small clinic.
.There is no Hot water provision in any wards and Its shocking to see the Management charging nearly 70k without these basic facilities. GOD knows for which reason this much amount is charged.
.No provision for bathing (in all the wards) and they placed a 5-liter bucket in all the bathrooms. Also don’t expect a bedpan/tray availability.
.One Nursing staff was commenting that it is torture to attend to the LSCS patient and God knows for what reason they have been hired for.
.No parking facility and you can’t plan the admission by driving on your own (4 wheeler).
.Even the water and patient food needs to be purchased in nearby hotels. Plz, don’t risk the patient's health as we are really unsure about the Hygiene maintained in hotels.
.We had planned the delivery of my wife just because Dr. Jalaja Reddy thinking that there will be basic facilities at least. But all my dreams have gone in vain.
.Frequent Power Cuts inwards and This hospital doesn’t even have the continuity of power supply in case of power cuts. The generator would resume after post few minutes.
.Any one and how many ever people (including housekeeping staff) can enter the Operation Theater without the sterilization/PPE kits.
.You can see rust formed on the beds even in Deluxe rooms. I don’t even understand how did they arrive at conclusion to charge 4000 for the room.
.don't expect any nurse coming for rounds until we go and call them if there is any requirement.
.NONE of the wards has even the calling bell near the patient and I still wonder how come a hospital can be run without the alarms set near patient beds.
.Wards are pretty ok and housekeeping cleans the wards on regular basis which is good part.
.The quality of bed spreads and pillows is too bad. Don’t imagine that you would get a soft pillow. Be ready to get completely uncomfortable leather pillows.
.The Tvs in the wards are of 16 inch size and don’t expect your regional channels. You get only the Free news channels along with Kannada channels. Hell with this provision.
.You need to wait for more than a day to get the set-top box remote.
.The hospital doesn’t even provide the laundry (patient dress) during admission. When the patient enters OT, they have given one polyester gown of complete hardness.
.They don’t even have the Post-operative care/observation for at least 1 or 2 hours post C Section and I literally got shocked to see them shifting my wife to ward directly from OT in just 40 mins from the time of LSCS.
.Do does not expect a patient kit, sanitizer, masks, or any other essentials from the staff. But for namesake, it’s a Delivery Package.
.The floor mats are too slippery and don’t the management know which is the right floor mat to be placed in the ward. My wife got slipped once and God sake, Please attend this on priority and ensure non-slippery mats.
.The blanket provided was torn and I am really skeptical on the quality of washing and sterilization of fabrics provided to the patients who had undergone surgery.
.Even the bathing sponge which is a basic requirement for the patient, the nurse calls me asking me to get it when I was rushing to the nearby medical store.
.Leather covered pillows – Just imagine would anyone get comfortable sleep by placing head on these pillows??
.The blankets won't be changed on daily basis. If we don’t ask, they will retain the same blankets for even a week. Pity on this part.
.Except for the Maternity Care from Dr. Jalaja Reddy, I don't see any value addition in terms of Hospital Care.
.They give lame excuses for bathing baby and the Nursing care from almost all nurses (except Sandhya) is pathetic.
.The Nursing charges would be separate apart from the Bed charged (4000/day) which is purely ridiculous. Usually, most of the hospitals have these nursing charges as part of ed charges.
.I seriously did a Blunder by choosing SRI RAM Hospital which is 200 % COMMERCIAL, MONEY ORIENTED rather than Service Oriented. Even now, I seriously don't understand how they concluded the package of 70k for LSCS with such a horrific facilities???
