Three's a Crowd,. Review on Spiderman 3 Movie

Caught the ten o'clock show last night.literally shivering with excitement.all because of the first movie which made me a bigger spidey fan than I was in the time of watching the cartoon and the second.though little less explored how spidey doesnt exactly help parker in his own life.with trying to protect his identity and all.being exposed to someone who loves him and someone who thinks he killed his father.NO SPOILERS

*PLOT:

*so.SPIDER-MAN 3 opens up as always.with parker.telling you.how his life is hunky-dory.he's back to good grades in his class.New york loves spiderman and he's going to ask MJ to marry him.but it wouldnt be nice if he had it this easy would it? .

We have M.J and Peter making out in a park.after the former's successful show at Broadway and a meteor silently hurls down the sky and attaches itself to peters scoot.

A fugitive on the run.who needs money for his sick daughter.and claims he had a good reason to kill Ben parker ignores the fencing and runs into a particle test centre where he turns into sandman.

And during the frist twenty minutes of the movie we have friend-turned -foe Harry Osbourne giding in a shiny new glider and seeking revenge for kiling the old Goblin.

hmm.three bad guys.thats well.bad? yeah.

Also the personal Problems of Peter's start.it is here that the film starts to lose its pace.its not handeled as well as the second movie.somthing's amiss.M.J and peter have problems cos he thinks he knows her well.she's half-jealous of his success as spiderman and also there's Harry(no Spidey doesnt tell her about the goblin thingy).

What worsens this situation is the shiny, black glob of alien goo that takes over parker.its a Symbiote.which takes over you and strenghthens your bad feelings and behaviour.

THIS is where the movie loses it completely.the way they have shown Parker getting BAD(!) is alomst hilarious.he struts around the street in John-Trovolta style pointing his fingers and making his hair more slippery.reallly poor depiction I should say.

But where they do get it right is in some scenes where he actually exploits his broken relationship with MJ and thats where you feel that this guy has gone bad.Also spidey siut turns full black.its in that suit that he almost kills sandman.seeking revenge for killing his uncle ben.he realizes he's going the wring way when his aunt may tels him.uncle ben wouldnt have wanted that.

So Parker goes to get rid of the suit and  the symbiote falls on a person who he made a new enemy.Eddie Brock.he takes Peter's job at the Bugle.and out comes VENOM.this was a great scene.

*CAST:

*Tobey MAguire is good.he tries real hard to balance the unstable script.kdos to him for that.his acting keeps the movie up.

Kirsten Dunst should have bben bored with the Damsel in distress thingy.but is good nevertheles.but seemed awkward in some scens.alkmost bored

Rosemary Harris as Aunt Mary gets the best lines.her words always apply to Peter and to Spidey too somehow.

James franco is good too watch as Harry.does justice to his role

The villians get less screen time and so we dont get too seea lot but Topher Grace as sandman and Thomas Haden Church as Venom do a good jjob to keep the movie floating.

*REVIEW

Tis was a satisfying movie.but not fully.thats why the three stars.i was hoping for the best movie of the lot when I was going to see this one.but that hounour goes to the first one.the amount of thrills and fun that you get in the first moviess.this one doesnt quiet match up/.Many say the movie was stuffed.at NO point of time did the movie feel so .on the contarary it was lsow at times and could'nt quiet explain to the audience why these things were happening.And the DRAMA.good lord.i know there's supposed to be some conflicts n the hero's personal life bu to this extent? It was almost Bolywood-like with the break ups and jealousy and CRYING! Hey, we are here to watch spidey not .well.peter-man!

Apart from these there was one thing.this movie could hav egone on without sandman being there.it was totally unnecesary to have him and im sure they could've saved a$50 mil from its$258 million budget.

VEnom was wicked cool.so you get too seea bout 15 minutes of him.wow.i think the whole movie couldve been made on venom.it doesnt need three to make the movie look big.

Complains end.now the rest.apart from the middle half.the first half and the climax is good stuff.it moves swiftly from one scene to another.the Climax is great! with a small shocker.

Now the action scenes are well thought out.although the climax could've been more innovative it was no less good.the victim.hostage was no other than MJ.

.VERDICT:

So thats it.the franchise is alomst finshed unless they  wake up 4 years later with and "idea".this is a GOOd movie but not GREAT or EXCELLENT.so its your choice.wait for it on dvd.or visit thenearest one.there was also one thing missing.the aplause which the first two movies got.
