On 10/11/2012, I booked two Spicejet tickets.One from Hubli to Hyderabad(via Bangalore) for travel on 25/01/2013 for just Rs 99 total with taxes and fees. And another one from Chennai to Hubli(via Bangalore) for travel on 27/01/2013 for just Rs 328 inclusive of taxes and fees.
Being a frugal traveler, I was surprised to find a airline with a ultra low fares. Immediately after booking, I phoned up customer care to make sure its not error fares.He said what you see is what you pay.I flew from Hubli to Hyderabad on 25/1/2013 and from Chennai to Hubli on 27/01/2013.
I am a frequent flyer with different airlines but with Spicejet this was fourth time .Spicejet stands out among the rest because of their unbeatable and ultra low fares.I flew in Bombardier 400 next generation both ways. Planes were brand new piloted by expat pilots.I experienced excellent customer service checking in, boarding, flight and baggage claim.
The planes were clean and the flight attendants were great and very friendly and the flight was very smooth both ways. The flights were on time, even little early. There was no hassle of in- flight shopping. While in flight, I purchased snack and coffee.I saved so much with this airline spending on snacks and coffee was no big deal. Safety, low price and no frills is the way I like to fly.
Spicejet suits me very well. Unusally I discard the tickets and boarding pass as soon as the flight was over. But this time, I keep the 2 tickets as a souvenir. I never bothered to write a review earlier. But, it would not be appropriate on my part if I don’t write a review, having enjoyed Spicejet hospitality for just Rs 99. I have flown many airlines and Spicejet is the best one yet. Spicejet is not only known for excellent customer service, they are known for unbeatable price. Spicejet and God only know how they thrive in bleeding aviation industry by selling tickets at rock bottom prices. I will definitely try them again later this year. Last but least a Big thank you to Spicejet . Spicejet…really Rocks
