I had booked a flight from coimbatore to delhi which was scheduled to depart at 9.45am and it had a break in chennai. Due to the floods in chennai we got a message that our flight got cancelled. we immediately called the customer care who offered us a direct flight on the same day from kochi which again got delayed by some 5 hours. and we again called up customer care they offered another flight and somehow we reached delhi on the same day.
When we made calls to the customer care, they took our issue into serious consideration and even offered us a full refund if the flight gets cancelled. all we need to have is to be a bit alert about the flight notifications thru messages and mails because its an airway journey. rest they will take care very well. the flight was so well maintained and we were provided good food. the take off and landing was so smooth compared to INDIGO flight where we had a miserable journey on the way back from delhi. INDIGO flight itself was badly maintained and made loud noises during take off and landing.
The AIR INDIA flight in which we booked a return journey cancelled the flight rightaway without any notification and the customer care service was not even picking the call. The MAKE MY TRIP agent site through which we booked the ticket also behaved very harshly. they plainly said "but sorry mam we cannot do anything". most airlines just leave us deserted after they cancel or delay a flight. such long journeys would turn miserable if we book thru these useless sites and airlines. its better to travel thru SPICEJET airlines comparing other airlines. I also appreciate the PILOT of spicejet airlines flight SG184 on 3rd of December 2015 for making a smooth journey experience for us. I also thank the MYSPICETRIP site staffs for their great help when our flights got cancelled. Thank to the customer service and all other spicejet staffs who helped us throughout. you can book through spicejet and myspicetrip with 100% confidence!
