W700i is one of the master peice here 'W' is for Walkman technology used by SonE for enchanced
sound quality, But when I started using in I found 'W' shoud statnd for WOW!.
Sound
Sound reception is very clear but with headphone it become Crystal clear. Thanks to walkman technology, mp3 or FM songs are really enhanced, it also allowed you to set different equilizers
out of which MegaBass is just wonderful. And if you want then every budy will listen it, just removed the headphone pin and plug it in the Speakers(Great Feature). Let the world hear it.
Also managing the songs is easy. You can create your own playlist from the tracks.
Display
TFT screens provide a crystal clear display & its very good.

Phone Handeling
Keypad is verysoft that makes typing easy & fast, eSpecially when you are SMSing it helps. Onetouch button to activate/deactivate the T9 Dictionary is very good. Joystic is in the middle
makes browsing really easy though u need some practice. Its java enabled so you can run
any java application available on net. Bluetooth is also fast and had safegaurad options aswell.
There are lot many features in W700i which makes it a gem.
Now coming to the improvement areas,SonE had worked hard but still I found that it can be imporved.
A good recorder is present in the phone but it can not be used to record the FM songs. That could be a great feature to add in.
Inserting the SIM is easy but getting it out is the toughest job to do on this phone. I used a nails, screw driver
nail cutter etc to get the SIM out but didn't worked. In the end a Plastic film helps me to take it out.
Battery life is not very long. Though it works fine if you are talking or listining the music. But if you start
to play with the display panel it just get consumed quickly. Though the charger is fast enough to put back u on
track.
In the end, Its a good phone to buy I got it for INR 13,300 and found it worth it. A Nokia phone with similar features
costs some 2000 more. But belive me you wont ever need a Digi cam with this gem in ur pocket.
