I had got a SE K750i in July 2005. I bought this phone after a great deal of thought and researching several mobile phone sites like mobilereview.com, gsmarena.com, mobileburn.com and forums like esato.com, etc.
I did not have a case for carrying the phone so I used to carry the phone around in my pocket. By the third day, the display scratch-guard came off. I didn't replace it considering the ridiculous Rs. 250 price tag. I said, I'll use this phone for 3 months and then sell it off.
I couldn't have been more wrong. Before this I have had several phones Nokia 7250i, 6600, 6320i and even the new N93.
I used this phone for over 1 year and when I sold it, I got a very good price for it despite there being no scratch guard. Tells a lot about the sturdiness and build quality of the phone. I sold this phone to buy an N93 (read about it here https://slashdot.org/~madbawa/journal/ )
Within 1 month of buying an N93, I sold it off and got the K750i once again! The photo quality is simply excellent. I have gotten these photos developed and even compiled a few albums...treasured memories. I have used this phone as a replacement for my digicam.
If you are thinking of buying a cell phone with excellent sound quality (MP3) and excellent photo quality, JUST GO FOR THE K750i. You will not regret it.
