Shifting from NOKIA to SE was a big thing considering that Nokia has ruled the Indian market for such a long time.
I still admit that Nokia is a good phone. Infact a great phone. But for people like me, who travel for 2 hrs to work everyday and even more to come back home, SE seems to be the ideal phone. I am not too much into the technical mystery of gadgets. If it suits me then it would work well with me. Otherwise there are a few things that I would point out on my SE K800 which has made me stick to the phone for so long.(my phone dealer is upset cos now I dont end up changing mobiles every 2 months. Believe me. They earn huge chunks when we do that.)
Neways. Why do I prefer SE over Nokia.?
Can it get anymore user friendly. With Nokia if u transfer a song from another phone, it comes as a bluetooth msg which gets stored on the phone memory and then has to be copied in the memory slot again. NOW. If there is 1GB in the memory card and no space in the phone memory it would not allow to copy. With SE its easier. Just save the song. It also saves themes automatically into the themes folder and stuff. No copy pasting sh*t.
NOKIA does not give me the battery life which a SE does.(as per my experience)
N series hangs every hour. SE has not hung on me even once.
3.2MP camera. Just open the flap and there u r.(my moms sick of the amount of pics I have on my PC. Clicked everything from traffic congested roads with cows lying down as if it were their bedroom to beautiful greeneryof Aarey Milk Colony and view from the highest point in National Park. Videos of us putting sauce in my friends pants or the first kiss from my girlfriend.
Well I can charge my phone while I use the handsfree to talk to other people at the same time.
Optimized charging. No need to wait for the battery to go flat for us to charge it.(i guess).
HOW CAN WE FORGET THE MUSIC THAT THIS PHONE PLAYS. CRYSTAL CLEAR. I HAVE REMOVED IPOD FROM MY WISH LIST. NOT THAT IT CAN BE COMPARED TO MP3 PLAYERS ON ANY PHONES. BUT ITS A SUITABLE ALTERNATIVE.
All in all. U look around today. People are using the SE more than anything else. I guess Nokia had its day as we didnt have much companies launching phones. I just wonder what would have happened if tht was not the case. 1 thing is for sure. I wouldn't have been writing this!
