My father had gifted me this system somewhere around New year a long time ago. I would say that the design part of it is ok but the sound quality is really horrible as it lacks real sound power. I was not expecting this mini system to be really very loud like the bigger ones but the sound power is even less than moderate. Secondly, I expected it to work for atleast 2 years but it failed to fulfill my expectations which was really disappointing and I am turned away from sony products due to this reason. So I would only recommend you to buy product only for a really small room with no noise. Otherwise, not a good product to go for
