Well guys this was the second car system that I was about to install. I have used a pioneer car stereo so was convinced about the quality of its finish and audio. but the problem with pioneer is that it sounds great with a a complete speaker set system that has Woofers, Amplifiers and tweeters etc. the problem with pioneer systems that I noticed is that the lower frequency sounds that it creates on ordinary oval or round speakers are not so good. the amplification without an external amplifier is also about 45X4watts.
in comparison to the pioneer I purchased a Sony system CDX-GT350S. the system has a very attractive detachable panel with chrome plated dial which is multipurpose. the various equalizer pre like > Cruise, Gravity, Xplod etc are verry impressive. the Radio reciever is amazing better than the Pioneer.
the balance between the Higher, Mid and Lower Frequency sounds is noticeable. plus it comes with 52X4 watts which makes it that more powerfull than the rest in its class.
the most important fact its that ITS A SONY. so it comes with the reliable name. its available for about Rs. 6500/- in the grey market and about Rs. 8, 000 to 9, 000/- with bill and warranty.
i will recommend blaupunkt front speakers with tweeters and Pioneer Oval speakers to be matched with this system for best effects.
