Racist and Misogynist Staff. Review on Sofitel, Mumbai

I have never seen a more pathetic hotel than @sofitelmumbaibkc . I have never felt so unsafe as a solo woman traveller and neither so disrespected. Your staff is misogynist and racist. International solo travellers get a table for 4 while female Indian solo travellers are made to sit at bar or a makeshift table with one chair. I was forced to keep my belongings on the same table as I was eating.It was extremely uncomfortable due to which I end up forgetting my belongings at the table. The destitute staff took my room number while billing but we're unprofessional to not return the belongings to my room. I enquired after an hour to which I received no response. I was made to personally visit the restaurant and fetch my belongings. I requested to meet the GM atleast a dozen times to the F&B manager Saurabh who lied and never called the GM. They staff doesn't know how to handle guests. I was forced to speak to some aunty supposed to be their director of operations whose only response was what can I do I am at my home , please go to your room. She seems the reason why women who get into leadership position via reservation for gender are never respected. Then there was some joker Gaurav who forcefully made me wait to meet him and checkout and told me I should have stayed at @tridentbkc . Pathetic hotel and a nightmare
