I ordered Lenovo K900( INR 24, 480) . Order no is'1372126925'.
I received the product on 31st Oct 2013 but in only 2 days I realized that the product is not at par. Below is the list of problems I am facing with this cell phone.
1. Phone not charging with the charger even though there is an indicator for charging on the phone or the battery charging is so slow that it’s un-noticeable.
2. USB charging through laptop takes 10-15 hours for complete battery charge by using mobie genie software using fast charge. Phone was not charging if not charged through mobie genie.
3. Battery drains if playing game while charging. Phone gets switched off.
4. Battery discharges very fast and the phone cannot be used continuously for more than 4-5 after full charge. 5. Heating Problem: Phone gets heated even after playing the games for 2-3 minutes.
Main issue was with the 2500 mAh battery which was below par as per 25 k price tag.
Anyone spending 25 k in a phone definitely deserves a better product. Whats the use of a smart phone if it can not be used for more than 5-6 hrs and required 15 hrs of charging. So considering above issues I decided to return the product and asked for refund so that I can buy a better product.
Reverse pickup was delivered to Snapdeal on 7th Nov 2013 and the complaint number was ‘3791294’.
And now my suffering started as after this Snapdeal never got back to me. Every time I called their CHARGEABLE customer care I heard only 1 thing.
"Sir please wait for 48 working Hours, our technical department will get back to you"
"Sir please wait for 1 day, our technical department will get back to you"
"Sir please wait for 4 hours, our technical department will get back to you for sure"
"Sir we understand you concern, our technical department will get back to you"
"Sir Please wait for some more days, our technical department will get back to you"
"Sir we can not do anything, our technical department will get back to you. Please wait"
Their customer service is not at all supportive to the customers.
I am now sick and tired of hearing above lines whenever I call but Snapdeal never got back to me. I have called for more than 15 times in past 10 days but these shameless Snapdeal guys don't even bother to talk to the customer and try to find out the issue.
Since last Monday I am hearing that they have checked the product and there is no fault in the phone and they will return that to me. Then I have to again tell them the issues I faced in initial 3 days of usage of the phone and refund my money. Then they take my request for the refund and asks me to wait for another 2 days and say that the technical department will get back to me but they never calls back.
I have given the request for refund for more than 5-6 times through customer care and in written by sending mail. They never call back but next time I call they repeat the same thing that there is no issue in the phone and they will return it to me and then again I have to raise the request for refund because I can not bear that faulty product anymore because if I take it back then I'll have to suffer till I scrap that phone and throw in dustbin because I don't have 15 Hours everyday to charge that phone and then use for 5 hours and put the phone back on charging.
Snapdeal is doing nothing to refund my money. Its been more than 10 days not and I am chasing them. In reality service industry should act out of their box to resolve the grievances of the customers but Snapdeal is totally opposite of it.
Though they advertise "TRUSTPAY, 7 DAYS NO QUESTIONS ASKED RETURN POLICY" But in real they never refund the amount but in return make the customer suffer as much as he can till his/her frustration level. They actually mentally torture their customers who return the products.
Above mentioned are my sufferings. One of my friends also bought Lenovo K900 through Snapdeal by order number'1372249364'.
After using for 1 day he found that battery drains very quickly and phone takes 4-5 hours for complete charge. Also the headphone jack is not detecting the headphone. Even after inserting the headphone; phone's speaker gets activated and there is no sound in the headphone. For this reason listening to radio is impossible as the headphones are not detected at all.
Snap deal arranged for the reverse pickup of his product but the reverse pickup was never done. After waiting for 2 weeks he sent back the product by paying INR 320 through Blue Dart. Today morning Snapdeal got the product back.
Now I am sure that Snapdeal will also make him suffer in the same way Snapdeal had made me to suffer but ordering from their site.
Now I'll mention some of the Pros & Cons of Snapdeal.
PROS
There is a wide variety of products available on Snapdeal.
Trustpay, 7 days no questions asked return policy.
24x7 Customer care.
CONS
Though they have wide variety of products but I am sure 90% of them are faulty. We bought two Lenovo K900 phones are both were faulty.
Though they have 7 days no questions asked return policy but this policy is never implemented. They will do their best for not giving the refund. I have personally experienced this fact.
24x7 customer service is not at all supportive to the customers and never bother to resolve customer's grievances but rather just ask them to keep waiting.
Their technical department will never call back once order is picked up by them and never try to talk to the customers about the issues they faced with Snapdeal products. There is no number of technical deptt where the customer can directly talk to them and they never call the customers.
I faced similar issue on Healthgenie.com but they were so proactive that right after writing my review they called me back and refunded my money in just 2 days. Please read below review.

On the other hand we have Snapdeal which is even worst than any other eCommerce site.
I apeal Snapdeal to please refund my money so that I can buy another better product. I have had enough sufferings now.
I'll update about the status of my refund everyday and will let you all know how Snapdeal is resolving the grievances of customers. Today is 18 Nov 2013.
