I recently ordered a non-marking shoe from Snapdeal(Order no 2513254926 dated 28th July) as I could not get the same brand anywhere else and this was the first order of mine on Snapdeal.


Everything went on fine, user experience was good and I paid up online which went through as well and my order stated that it will be delivered in a week's time. However the order status never got changed and I got few email alerts stating that there would be a delay in shipment and please expect 3 days delay.


After waiting for a week, I called them up only to be told that if any shipment does not happen within 7 days of placing that order, I am supposed to understand that something went wrong & the order will not be fulfilled by their vendor! I asked them if that is the case, why does the product still show up on their portal for which they did not have any answers.


I did not want to press it any further and asked them by when can I get back my money and I was told that it will take 5-7 working days.


The order which was placed on 28th July was cancelled on 5th August and I still have not a refund(18th August) in spite of repeatedly calling them up! Every time I call them up, they tell them that they have escalated it and someone will contact me shortly(no one still have quantified'short'!).


If anyone is planning to purchase from Snapdeal, please order COD or else you may land up in such a situation for no fault of yours!
