Snapdeal by the days has made quite a reputation by itself, so much so that in-fact I was directed to it by my own uncle, and out of sheer whimsicality I ordered 2 mobile phones (one is entitled to a brand Micromax: which is actually never useful; and the other is Nokia: which is supposed to be good); an electric water heater(Bajaj); and a roti-maker... out of which NONE stand upto the limits of customer-satisfaction!


My micromax cell-phone is pitifully incorrigible and the other products too are proving themselves worthwhile to be included in the same category. When I called up the customer support I expected to see a good response and an even quicker redressal of my drab phone: Micromax X60... it was out at a flat 75% discount and now I know why...


So, when I dialed the customer service, the lady over the phone told me: "sorry sir! we are not in charge of the product when it is handed over to you, you should contact the company." So I considered their version of what they had to say and contacted Micromax instead! But what about the other products?? How does this website incline itself in selling so many products without a security check?


The other products have many problems too and how many times are we to contact the respective companies? Snapdeal itself is not inclined to take security measures in selling proper products to its customers, and considering their reputation across India it is indeed extremely depressing and all the more derogatory to its repute.


All I want is a quick redressal... and to anyone who is reading this... I would really like to save you from trouble, and if you really want to buy something from Snapdeal, you'd better have your notion changed. Online is never a good option I guess... though I don't know about Flipkart, eBay or the others.


Therefore the reason that I am wasting my time, writing about this stupid website is that I don't want the rest of you to be punished for taking a drastically wrong decision.


Would I recommend it to a friend? Hell no! I would instead recommend it to my enemies!
