Just be wary of buying any electronics from this e-commerce site.  Just for saving a proverbial buck here and there you would be sparing yourself the humiliation of going through a cheeky un-responsive e-commerce company.


After years of shopping experience in the USA, I was really happy to see the home grown companies extending the market to the living rooms of the consumers.


I had attempted to buy a Car-audio amplifier for my brand new car(order number(3451019082 JBL - GTO 804EZ - 4 Channel Amplifier(940 W) and it was delivered on 10-Nov-2014.


When I had received the product and analyzed the feasibility to connect, I found that the description as given in their website  - that it could be seamlessly connected with any OEM car was false!


As any gullible consumer who had spent close to 10K I approached their customer service, in the hope that I would be getting a relief. I had chosen to return the product and hoped to buy another advanced product from them costing 14K which had the feature that I had wanted. I had to go on a research quest to find the right product with the needed feature for it to be compatible with my car!


They took my complaint on the 12-Nov-2014.They were not able to take even customer complaints since all their systems were overloaded/crashed/updating! Apparently they were having a sale!


The complaint was eventually taken two days later, after a couple of very cold calls from their representatives who quoted the "trustpay agreement" like parrots, I was able to get through to them with evidence that the product description was indeed covered and quoted in the said agreement as grounds for refund .even if it is a electronic item. I was told an electronics department guy would get back on the 13-Nov morning.


In the afternoon, I was sent an email that my complaint had been closed and that since, I had opened the item it cannot be taken back.A complete u-turn from the "trust pay agreement"


In my humble opinion, it is just not worth attempting to buy from these people.They have a long long way go to understand the dynamics of retail business and consumer behavior. They can invest big money, and conduct big advertisement campaigns. It was a waste of time.
