What surprises me is how could the censor board, just keep shut with the words MA etc. Why all these movies try to project Indian's as beggars or thieves!! (scenes of Dharavi, a little boy stealing food etc.) The same was rejected by them for Mira Nair's Salaam Bombay, ages ago which projected the life of women in Falkland Road, Mumbai. It's Money which runs the show, isn't it.
Anil Kapoor's best as a villain ...ofcourse, all hosts in the Kaun Banega Karodpati, even the Big-B's shows were a bit Villanious..is my Hinglish wrong? Why wasn't Dasvidaniya nominated? It had everything, love, money except violence. I don't know. You decide.
There was a question - which cricketer has scored the most first class centuries in history? A. Sachin Tendulkar B: Ricky Ponting C. Michael Slater D: Jack Hobbs. The character Jamal replied 'A. Sachin Tendulkar' - later opted for 50:50. What was his answer?
Again he repeated A....and the correct answer was.. Check out guys. Hindi movies always makes a mistake..isn't it..that's why Filmfare still thrives with it's penultimate page of finding mistakes in movies. Has anyone seen DasaAvatharam by Kamal Hassan. Every sequence in his movie, takes you to flashback...similar to Slumdog. Then why couldn't it win the Oscar..
The last scene reminds me of Ashutosh Gowariker's Lagaan, people queuing around T.V. retailers to watch the last winning scene..similar to Slumdog. Then why couldn't Lagaan get nominated for the Oscars. Hey that was directed by an Indian and SDM is directed by some FIRANGS known as Danny Boyle....
& it has won the Oscars too.
