Yo! This story is well Quilted! Have you seen a quilted story before? Did you know, stories can be weaved?Well our Directors Danny Boyle / Loveleen Tandan are masters in this art of weaving a story, The main thread around which our story is weaved is the TV show, "Who wants to be a Millionaire".

I have never seen such exquisitely woven story, You can compare the weaving with PASCHMINA Shawls. This is an intense story "SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE" So you have guessed the main hero is participating in a TV show, this is not about India, nor about POOR people, this story is about guts, this story is about surviving the odds, this story is about HEART.

In this story you will see a kid/boy/man struggle to do the bidding of his heart, Jamal Malik(Dev Patel). loves Latika(Freida Pinto) it is the story of people trusting each other, no matter what the odds might be. While participating in TV Show, whose host is played by(Anil Kapoor) Prem Kumar. This show is connecting us to full life story of Jamal and his brother Salim, they used to live in slums and near Taj Mahal and their life along with Latika.

Can you imagine the questions of the Game show relate to: Life times, Love times, Hard times, Orphan times! This unique treatment of story is the main entertainment, believe me I have seen many films, no director yet came anyway near to this story treatment, this is once in a long time movie, story telling has never been so lovely.

There is the mention of beautiful Sanchita Choudhary, very small role, there are other small roles in this film, but you can touch and feel each character completely thru the quilts of this movie. There is nothing in this film too real, all along the story you keep feeling this is just entertainment.

Your thoughts do not reflect anywhere during the story on real life, this is what is endearing about our movie. There are no gory marks left on your psychology about anything except satiated entertainment. As with good story tellers you still retain the thought that you have seen or heard a story.

This is super fast paced movie, you will not guess what will come next, no predictability hence involving, one sad thing about this film is Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail(kid salim) the actor is being harassed by a real police inspector so much that the mother had to fled from her home, this is what I read in newspapers.

I wont tell you how was the acting of Irfan khan and other people, what I tell instead AR Rahman music kept the mood of this film running and there are few beautiful chants of JAI HO all along the film with a good rap song, I request with this review OSCAR judges to be just with this film, this is a UNIQUE story treatment and UNIQUE film, never done before. Bring home the OSCARS, AR Rahman.
