So winters are back so the dry skin are you prepared? Dry skin a common problem in winters. Cold outdoor air and warm indoor air equally dry winter skin. Normally cold air has less moisture than warm air, heating air for warmth robs it of moisture.

Sunbaths and Dry Skin

It is common to sit under sun in winters. Beware, you can still burn, even when it's cold, and sunburn will only aggravate dry skin. You'll especially want to use a lip balm with sunblock, to keep your lips from chapping in the cold, wind and sun. If possible avoid direct sun.

Dry Skin and Associated Diseases

Anybody suffering from eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or any other skin condition, could have a generalized dry skin problem. Their skin may be sore, cracked, scaly and sometimes itchy. These symptoms are often at their worst during a cold or dry spell in the winter months. These need Dermatologists attention.

Little Kids Dry Skin

Kids Dry skin is characterized by cracked and brittle skin; this dry skin can allow irritants to penetrate more easily. Causes of dry skin include forced air heating, lack of humidity in the outside environment, too vigorous scrubbing of the skin and exposure to harsh cleansers such as soaps.

Try to control the temperature and humidity in your home(if a humidifier is used, you'll need to clean it frequently and empty it when not in use to prevent the growth of bacteria). Protecting baby's skin from wind, increasing baby's fluid intake, and keeping baby's skin well moisturized

How take care of Dry Skin

To begin with, take shorter or fewer showers or baths, and use cooler water. Hot water may feel good on your body this time of year, but it strips the skin of natural oils. After your shower, don't dry completely with a towel. Instead, while your body is still damp, rub on skin lotion - the greasier the better. Lotion will help seal the dampness from the shower into your skin. Dry skin is the result of a deficiency in the oil and moisture that are required to keep the skin lubricated resulting in flaking, scaling, and cracking.

Oils that can be used

Coconut, Lavender, Rose, Sandalwood

Have good winter and shiny beautiful Skin
