My recent experience at SIMS Hospital left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied with their services. I feel compelled to share my experience to highlight several issues that need addressing.
Firstly, I must mention the steadily increasing doctor fees at the hospital, which started at Rs 700 but have now reached an unreasonable Rs 800. This continuous upward trend in fees is a significant concern for patients like myself.
On the day of my mother's appointment, I encountered a frustrating ordeal with their parking facilities. After spending a good 15 minutes searching for a parking spot without any assistance from the hospital staff, I had no choice but to park my car near the bike parking area to ensure we wouldn't miss our appointment.
To my surprise, things took a turn for the worse. A staff member named Geetha approached me and requested my car keys, citing that my car was obstructing the movement of other vehicles. Despite my assurance that I would be leaving within five minutes, she insisted on relocating my car without informing me about any associated parking charges.
As promised, I left within the stipulated five minutes, only to be shocked when I was told that I had to pay Rs 40 before they would release my car. I found this unjust, considering the circumstances. However, they adamantly refused to return my car until I paid the parking fee.
To add to my frustration, an employee approached me with discourtesy, leading to an unpleasant exchange that left me raising my voice.
This entire incident not only ruined my mood but also had a detrimental impact on my health. I believe that SIMS Hospital should take responsibility for the inconvenience and mistreatment we experienced during our visit.
In conclusion, my visit to SIMS Hospital left much to be desired. I sincerely hope that the hospital management addresses the issues mentioned above, particularly the escalating fees and the need for more accessible and free parking options for patients. Additionally, a reconsideration of their staff's approach to patient interactions is necessary. Compensation for the distress caused would also be a welcome step.
I urge SIMS Hospital to conduct a thorough review of their practices to ensure a better experience for patients in the future.
