There has been a great deal of hype surrounding this movie. Yet, somehow it failed to strike a chord with me. The story centers around an ecstatic woman who goes by the name'Simran'. The main focus is on the kind of life she led and the serious of wrong decisions she took that led her to her current predicament. Loosely based on a real life story, this Kangana Ranaut starrer film somehow failed to live up to the expectation.
The lead actress as well as the supporting cast were all pretty good but it just felt like there was not much they could offer to the story. Ranaut's natural and interesting acting was the only saving grace of the film. Performance wise the film and star cast did not disappoint.
The upbeat and groovy music was good too, but that too lost its charm after a while. To sum up the entire experience, Simran was a movie with an interesting story and incredible actress. However, the pace and execution failed to create magic on screen.
Watch it if you're curious or Kangana Ranaut fan, otherwise, you can easily skip this movie and watch a different one with a strong plot.
