Sify broadband mismangement

Last year by July, I signed up with Sify. It was then taken care of by my cable provider as a franchise. I spent a hefty amount on installation contract. The service was good & except for a few episodes of disconnexion, the line was working to my satisfaction. In between, something else happened with Sify & their franchising style. They removed the cable provider from all the collection renewal activities & started directly following for renewals & payments. Now what ? the line is dead from middle of August 06 & despite my telephonic & online complaints they never cared about resolution! However a guy comes to my door step every now and then and demands renewal fees for a dead line, as if I am using the line in full with happiness.


This is one example of how to kill a good product by mismanagement !


I do not know who was greedy, if the cable guy or Sify. But the name that is in shambles is Sify's as the cable guy is out of picture. May be the guy is cutting off the line / disconnecting intentionally to eradicate the Sify reputation. As a customer I am cut up only with the ISP.


My frequent mails, calls have not been answered, not responded to by them!
