A complete entertainer. An apt description to the sequel of the monster-hit Shrek.
Brilliant life-like animation, lovable characters, humour that cuts across all kinds of audience all woven in a fancy fairy tale with a dash of great music? that?s Shrek ? 2 for you.
The hitch, hiccup actually is the slightly predictable storyline (caring dad having a change of heart, sure enough ogres stay ogres ?) but that is nit-picking.
The movie is fun all the way. One of the most interesting aspects of the movie is the blending of global icons in the movie along with creative names of places and characters (Pinocchio does a Michael Jackson!! Puss in boots a Garfield ? OH I HATE MONDAYS, A young charming prince is called CHARMING, a fairy tale kingdom being called Far Far Away) Creativity at its best!
Rarely does a movie capture the imagination of kids and adults alike and Shrek 2 with it hilarious dialogues (The Donkey is a show stealer) awesome animation, wow background score does just that.
