Shree Sifarishilal is yet another SAB TV's comedy product which targets the red-tapism and bureaucracy prevalent in India. Directed, written and produced by Ashwani Dheer, the multiple award winning writer of Office-Office, this serial gives us a break after a hard day's work.
Concept and Story
In every organization, you will always find people who have acquired their job via influence alias - ‘Sifarish’.
Shree Sifarishilal is one of those many whose philosophy in life has been ‘entry by influence’. So much so that he entered the world (born) only when his mother got admission in the hospital via a reference letter..... Mera to janam bhi sifarish se hua hai !!!
In this hilarious sitcom, Sifarishilal changes his profession regularly and manages to get an entry into a new office each time with his Sifarishi letter. However, he also manages to create a situation of complete commotion and chaos each time, due to his lack of knowledge in the field.
Cast and Crew
Deven Bhojani: The role of Shree Shifarishilal is played by none other than Deven Bhojani, who has previously done many serials, such as Dekh Bhai Dekh, Office Office, Sahib Biwi Ke Ghulam, Hum Sab Ek Hain.... the list goes on. He fits in perfectly to the role and delivers his dialogues with ease.
Bhavana Balsaver: The ever charming and seasoned actor, Bhavan Balsaver plays the role of Mrs. Sharma, a apple-polishing assistant who praises each and every word that drops out of Shree Sifarishilal’s mouth be it wrong or right...... Sahi Hai...
Sooraj Thapar: He plays the role of Mr. Saxena, a bespectacled middle-aged man, who has the qualifications and experience for the post for which Shifarishilal gets appointed. He has a habit of talking to himself and then conveying the same message to others....Saxena keh raha hai, Saxena ko rona aa raha hai,....
SitaRam Oanchal: He usually plays the role of the boss of the company, who is forced to appoint Shifarishilal on the basis of the reference letter. He only knows how to irritate people by coughing in middle of important discussions and conversations, and often his sentences are completed by others, specially Chhaya.
Shalini Kapoor: She plays the role of the assistant, Chhaya, who is usually responsible for completing Tiwari's sentences. Her good looks also makes her the sex symbol in the office.
Rakesh Srivastav: He plays the role of Sharma, another assistant. I guess he has only one line, which he keeps on repeating... Mere jeejaji ke saath bhi aisahi hua tha.
My Sifarish....
I also recommend you to watch this serial... if you are tired of the same boring stuff on TV. It also gives you a break after a hard day's work to unwind yourself.
