I had ordered a whirlpool 2 Ton window AC on 21st April from Indiatimes. Order number 3002237157
Their site mentions that product would be delivered in 16 business Day. I was hesitant to order so inquired from customer care why it takes so long and can it be shipped earlier. I was told that this is the maximum time and we generally ship in less than the maximum stipulated time.
They charge your credit card but make you wait for days. I had started following up with them since May 1 to ensure that I atleast get my product in the stipulated 16 days. But nothing happened. I have raised a complaint and followed up with 4-5 people in their customer care. But these chaps know nothing beyond giving template responses.
So basically when you buy from them, add to the cost hours you would spend haggling with them on phone and waiting for your call to be transferred to a "Supervisor". Get ready to hear cliche sentences like "We understand", "We regret the inconvenience" .
Please dont be lured with any discounts they might be offering. I havent even received the product till now, god knows what kind of problems would be their in the product quality once I receive.
Also, these guys are almost running a scam by charging money from you and sitting for weeks on it and earning interest amount.
