I had ordered Sony 7000mAh Portable Powerbank CP-F2LS on shopclues from seller F1 tech solutions. The order was processed quickly and delivered promptly through Bluedart. A suspicious aspect of this transaction is that there is no Cash on Delivery(COD).
I opened the packing and found that the outer plastic case belonged to Sony 10000 mah power bank. The case itself looked old and it was open. Inside there was a fake 7000mAh powerbank.
The manual says that there is an orange and green LED light. But in my product there is only a red and blue light. While charging they alternatively blink fast which is not what the manual says.
I am not returning the product as I have read many horror stories about Shopclues product return records.
Shopclues targets our greed by showing massive discounts. The MRP of this powerbank is supposed to be Rs 5500 and it is offered at Rs.869. It is not possible to offer an new/original product at such massive discounts. But I realized my mistake very late.
Now I did a google search on "Shopclues fraud" and realized that there are thousands of others like me.
