Shakalaka boom boom revolves around the wheeling and dealing of the Bollywood industry.
AJ (bobby) is a musical icon and Reggie (upen), an upcoming singer.
Besides being suave, smart and successful, AJis also an excellent businessperson.
In addition, that is where he gets his success.
Sheena (Celina) is his media promoter. Reggie on the other hand, is a gifted musical genius. He is brash, arrogant but his sex appeal and musical brilliance attracted Sheena.
She opens doors of the musical world that Reggie has only dreamt of.
As time goes by, Reggie not only threatens AJ’s position in the music industry but also falls for Ruhi (kangana), * the girl that AJ loves too.Now you all would be able to understand how the story goes further and what the end was.
The film is pure music with Himesh at his best.Tracks like tere bina and namumkinjust steal your heart away.I guess songs and Upen’s sex appeal are the *USP’s *of the film.
Overall, the story has the same love triangle that according to me cannot work with today’s genX. We need something different.
