Well A movie which I wish had a better Plot! . Review on Shaapit

To start with Shaapit Marks the Debut of Udit Narayan's Son "Aditya Narayan" and "Shweta Aggarwal". And is Directed by None Other than Vikram Bhat who's Last Outing 1920 Was one of the finest Horror flicks according to me Though It had many Scenes Ripped off From the Hollywood Movie "Exorsism".

The Plot -

The Movie Starts with These Two Lovers (Shweta ANd Aditya) Madly in love and Etc. Now Adtiya Proposes Shweta and that Night itself They Have a freaky Accident but None of them Is hurt? Now It is so supposed that Their Relationship can never turn Into a Marriage Until and Unless A curse is gotten Rid off. A curse which was Born 300 years ago! Now The Lead pair along with a Professor of Witchcraft (Rahul Dev) and The Hero's friend Set out to know What the curse is? It sounds impossible To know about a secret which is buried for the last 300 Years but then That the movie about On What exactly the Curse is? Who is the One who Issues this curse!

Now I can't let out much of the plot as if it will spoil the fun for those who would want to watch this movie!

The Music -

The Music of the movie is just about Ok! There is Just one Hummable Song in the movie which Is "Kabhi Na Kabhi Tum Miloge" Though The movie Infact should have NEVER had songs, Because it Breaks the Adrenaline Rush and The flow of the movie! All the songs in the movie are un-necessary.

Cinematography And Effects-

The movie Is very very well shot. And the effects are really good Which I guess Is great In all Vikram Bhat Movies. The Palace In the Movie is really Beautiful though you wish you could see more chambers in it which would have made the movie Grander. However The Palace in the movie which is right in the Middle of a sea is Computerized but It looks real and No its not shot In Jaipur Lake palace! Even the Ghosts scenes int he movie is very well shot.

Sound effects-

This is the most Important part in a Horror Flick. And the sound effect in the movie Is Just great! It spooks you and the Right time at the Right Moment!

Performances -

1. Adtiya Narayan - He really need to take up some serious acting Lessons, Many of the scenes he looks Blank and Clueless. He was good as a child actor when he was kid In movies Like - Jab pyar kissie se hota hai and Pardes. However In this movie he Really doesn't act well but considering this is his first movie we Can hope he shall Improve in Future!

   
   




2. Shweta Aggarwal - She Acts and emotes Very well in the movie and Looks simple and pretty. Though she doesn't have much to do in the second half but she performs well considering she's  new-comer.

   
   




3. Rahul Dev - He's Played his part to perfection He is amazing in his role of A Witchcraft Master!

2. If you are an a big Vikram bhatt fan you might Like this but Hey you might even be dissapointed if you expcet it to be as good as 1920.

4. There are many Scenes In the movie which is truly senseless  Like - If the Spirit was so Powerful why didnt it kill the lead actors Earlier itself and even in the climax why Didnt it kill the Male lead Because it would have been a child's Play for it!

   
   




5. If expect Aditya Narayan to be a really A great performer like You had seen him In his Role's when he was kid You shall be Dissapointed.
