MS has become my favourite Mouthpad to rant about all that bugs me and I can do
nothing about! Coming to Movie Rental provider Seventy MM, I am a registered member since the last 3 months and here's a low down on my experience:
1) About 70mm: They allow you to handpick movies online (from their site) and get them delivered right at your doorstep. From Hollywood classics to Bollywood hits and Mr. Bean shows to Charlie Chaplin series, they have it all. Log on to their site and queue up your favourite ones and they'll be sent to you one after the other.
2)The Packages: My current package is called Unlimited movies for Rs. 299/month. Before you get starry eyed at the word "Unlimited" let me quickly add, it means 1 movie a day for 30 days. I suggested they add "10 ka ek" in the promos. I usually dump the movie in my hard disc so that I can watch it as and when I feel like. This is the best package for movie freaks (like me), visit their site for more.
2) Service: Now getting your new movie delivered everyday isnt that easy you see. You have to log on to their site and request Pick Up. The CCE promised me many times that she'll automate it (since I'm on a movie a day plan) but that never happened. Worse, they dont pick up nor deliver new ones for days even after the online request is being made. E.g. In 15 days (1 Jul - 15 Jul) have have got just 5 movies inspite of requesting pick up everyday.
3) Quality: No complaints on this one. The print is good. Only "Babel" has a bad print and the same copy was shipped to me twice. The bottomline is that the movie still remains unwatched :( 4) Customer Care: They never reply mails. Call them and they'll give you a "I'll have a talk with the manager and get back to you", which again never happens. My verdict: Try Big Flix! These guys also provide similar service, has similar rates and since they've "Relaince" group stamped on them, they are way better than the rest! A close friend is using their services and don't ask how jealous I get! I'll switch to Big Flix the first thing I'm back from my vacation!
