Foundations based on humanity last for ever !!!. Review on Second Foundation - Isaac Asimov

The belief in unseen GOD is better than belief in mighty man for me.

Second Foundation is to be read for the quality of writing, the second foundation is to be read

for the quality of imagination it presents, the second foundation is to be read as a predecessor

to all Science Fiction writings, the second foundation is to be read to feel the amazement at the

mind of an inventor of ideas, the second foundation is to be read for the pace, surprise, the

twists, the turns and till the last page. Last page holds a big surprise, but I dont dwell on the

subject of a book, I always dwell and reside on the ability of writer.

Many people understand that this is a TRIOLOGY of foundation series, I do not advise that,

this book stands alone as a whole work of fiction, it is complete in itself as a book, all other books are just fillers around this book, that is how I feel, the other books connect to this book with their characters and plots and other stuff. Yes they may connect, because all those books are

written by one author.

1952 is the year this book was circulated, you can understand the amount of hold this it has on

its readers that it is still being discussed and I am pretending to write a review about it in our

time. This book needs reading, if you are fond of reading then read this, you will like it.

There is lot of scientific terminology outlined and for example if we say the whole plot of this

book is a piece of land, then the area of this land is too vast and the journey over it is too

pacy not to feel excited in discovering all the pulls, hooks, twists, turns and the effecient

theorizing and expansion of theories over the story.

Should I discuss the characters above or tell you in understanding the creation of above people

was very exciting to me, or should I tell you the plot and the place where these characters reside

I wont tell you all that. What I will tell is a few lines about the most discussed man in this

book, Hari Seldon.

This man is dead, but the foundations he established and the secrecy arranged around the second foundation is falling apart, everyone wants to search for the second foundation and over power it I will also take you into the times when these stories were written.

Long before films like LATITUDE ZERO started screening in theaters, space explorations and moon landings were anticipated everyone was imagining the shape of new worlds, their sole window to  these worlds were telescopes. Now after spending 1000 billion dollars and 1000 science fiction movies and equal number writers and photo exploration missions of planet PLUTO and Man hours, days, years on SPACE stations, Astronauts are fed up with attending calls of nature in their space suits.

The fascination with space was inspiring till it lasted, now there is no WILL left to establish

FOUNDATIONS, first, second, third or fourth of genetically modified or cloned or improved humans

in space no where. Now all staring eyes have returned back to dear beloved EARTH, our home, it is inevitable after staring long hours into space, our eye sight retuns back to us disappointed.

Now the time has come to think plans to invest few billion dollars inventively to improve the

earth dwellers, wipe away the FOG of pollution, POVERTY, Strife, Disease, Corruption and stop

the shedding of innocent BLOOD. We can again start to become HUMANS, as we were. I wish to leave this Earth in the same condition as the day I inherited it.

Sorry I am discussing fiction, these are the reactions you feel reading the fiction mentioned above

I suppose any book which charges you up positively and makes your mind think of these thoughts must be good book, if we follow fiction books and apply the principals we learned in it in real we are not sure of the results we may get, but if we apply ourselves in improvement of this earth, I

am very sure what results we will get.

Its been a long time since I read this book, but still I recall the pleasure and the charge it

gave me then and now thinking about it, if you want your brain cells to jump to life again and

start feeling for the things again, then do take up this book.
