My husband looks forward to his monthly Scientific American magazine. He has been subscribe to it for many years, since he was a teen.
This magazine has all type of articles about different things. It doesn't have many ads in it but has scores of information from just about every thing from science, astrochemistry, biotech, anthropology, computing, etc.
Example in this month's issue of August. The magazine has articles about Cybernetic Cells, The trouble with Turtles,
Mine Data to find Bombs, The Do-It-Yourself Supercomputer, etc.
The magazine has several departments of interest to readers. Some like reviews, working knowledge, profile, letters and news scan and end points.
This magazine has a website that is pretty neat. Feature here is, Ask the experts, different features of the month like this month, Robo Dino and Quick Poll for what you think about key science-related issues in the news today. You will get instant results.
Back to the magazine. It has sales in United Kingdom, Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Belglum, Middle East, India, Japan, Korea and Hong Kong.
I didn't think I would like this magazine but it open up a new world of knowledge for me in all types of fields. My teenage daughter loves these for they are also great to use for projects ideas for school work. So, if the wonders of Science and technology interest you then you need to subscribe to Scientific American. You will be pleasantly surprise.
