These are my experiences with SBI cards in spite of not being their customer.
From Sept, 2006 I am answering 8 unsolicited calls a day, not meant for me from SBI cards Chennai call center. "Hello.. May I speak to Shankaran?"
This line greets me good morning everyday at 7:30 am. The same sentence greets me everyday till 8 in the evening, 8 times a day. This is going on from past 9 months non stop.
I have spoken to all possible persons in the call center right from the agents to team leads, floor managers. Everytime I get assurance that my number will be taken off from the list and I won't receive any calls. Within 30 minutes, same stuff starts :)
I have posted written complaints to every possible email id, to Mr. Ajay Bharti, AVP, customer service. I have received 5 apology emails from him stating that my number would be taken off from the calling list, but nothing happened.
If this is the plight of someone who is not their customer, just imagine the quality of service SBI cards giving to their very own customers.

-> no, its a wrong number
"Where can I get mr. Shankaran's number?
-> how can I tell you? ..
I am just tired of answering these two questions everyday from morning to late evening.
Mr. Shankaran has taken some huge loan on his card and ran away giving my number. Laid back and careless SBI chaps never bothered to verify the contact number before disbursing the money and now they are making me SUFFER.
I would surely not buy any product from SBI definitely and would not recommend anyone as I have suffered enough and still don't know when the calls will end :)
I have checked TRAI website too, they don't have any email id or any section for filing complaints against such nuisance. Kindly help me out with suiitable complaint forum.
