I had a quite a high expectation about this movie. Freshly being made by venkat prabhu after a refreshing chennai28. It was disappointing. First things first

Don't listen to the media hype, college students who go in groups, or date couples who visited this movie

The storyline and screenplay was clever-but not good. What is the diff.? a clever story needs good treatment. Example-Ocean's 11. A good screenplay takes you with the story, not just covers up the flaws.Eg-The dark knight

The sound track is awesome. In fact tats wat makes the film a once-watchable venture. The swift editing and neat camera work are great plus points. The comedy appeals here and there. All stars in the movie have performed well

The major advantage the movie has is that it moves faster not allowing us to think over it. And if u think thats not necessary, read on

A lover of movies would not recommend this movie. The major thing is, this movie moves based on second by second changes that even the director doesn't grasp well. Many things are totally absurd. Many sequences have been purposely made to evoke laughter. It gets tiring beyond a limit.

A song starts the movie. God knows what it has to do with the movie. Four supposed-to-be-close friends form the pillars of the movie.I still cant understand why they were calling each other "sir" throughout the movie. The location chosen for this story was awesome. It had everything needed for the movie. But just one thing. Who are all the ghost-like creatures, sorry men, sorry beggars(oh just leave it!)  who live silently in that place?

In one scene two of our heroes are seen in the insides of a crashed car. They are closely surrounded by thugs. Next scene-they are running from them! grow up men!

There is an excellent item number in the movie. nicely done and excellently pictured.First I thought the dancer  was something close to it. She is then shown close to the leader of the bad guys. Finally they tel u who he really was. My god!!!! then who was she? His wife? his would-be? his girl friend? yes people. that thug turns out to be an ex-policeman!

People may change. But how can one explain this?

As usual there is a dumb boy for sentiments by the side of this Bad guy. They kidnap a girl for ransom, kill whoever stand in the way, torture her father, but still they are portrayed as people with a heart of their own! Wow talk about cinema sentiments!

The basic idea, as everyone says must be from a hollywood movie-that is quite evident from the clever plot. But the execution fails miserably. Its not just that many scenes seem to be taken from many other movies

The drawbacks of execution are mildly evened out by the casual performances of the actors. The movie gets its strength from them directly.

The bottom line is, if you don't give a s**t about all these and all you want is a fast movie, with attempted comedy and good music, this is the one for you. It works even well if you are one of those who laugh out loud just because everyone around them is laughing. But for people who want some quality, please move on!

In my opinion films like these should not be encouraged. It is totally dependent on its chart-busting sound track  It simply shows that with excellent songs and average presentation you can provide a hit movie. It degrades the quality of screen-time utilization and provides a wrong guidance to up-coming directors as well as directors-to-be
