Delightful Comedy. Review on Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai

I am back after a almost two year, but am not sure I will be able to continue in writing reviews or not, I probably might again take a break after writing this review, but I am not sure… I see a lots of new members in here, and am sure no one knows about me :) I also see old members still writing reviews in here, that’s pretty cool, but anyways I am trying to come back by this review.. but I am not sure.

About Sarabhai vs Sarabhai… its really wonderful tv serial I have seen after Subh Mangal Savadhan, and it’s after looooong break.

SVS plays around mainly 5 family members - Indravadan, Maya, Sahil, Monisha (Manisha) and Roshesh, there are also more characters in a serial, but they aren’t the main role of the serial, but I will write about them also… three are there, Radha Bai, Sonya and Dushyant.

This serial always comes with a new chapter, but every new chapter has got something to do with each and every character of the serial, specially with the main 5 characters of the serial.

Indravadan - Role is very well played by Satish Shah, he is a retired director of the Multinational company, and he is really funny in his role, he acts like a small kid in a serial now and then, he always tries to add more spark between his wife and daughter-in-law. And he likes to tease his son Roshesh a lot, but he equally loves Sahil and he always takes side of Monish (his daughter-in-law).

Maya - Role is played by Ratna Pathak Shah, and have played it very nicely, she is a wife of Indravadan in a serial, she plays a role of high-society woman, she is very modern, she always tries to insult Monisha (her daughter-in-law), and she looks forward that his second son Roshesh doesn’t repeat the same mistake which Sahil has made by marrying middle class girl Monisha.

Sahil - Role is excellently played by Sumeet Raghvan, he is son of Indravadan Sarabhai and Maya Sarabhai, he is a plastic surgeon and he is married with a middle class girl Monisha, he is very nice person at heart, and attached to his mom and wife, he is sandwiched between his mom and wife, and also kind of sandwiched between his family, as he tries to sort out all sort problems which are there in a family.

Monisha - Role is played by Roopali Ganguli, she has played it very well, but she still needs to improve a little bit with dialogue delivering, She is a middle class girl in a serial, and she is a wife of Sahil Sarabhai, her actual name is Manisha or something, I don’t remember exactly, but her mother-in-law didn’t liked her middle class name and she changed it to Monisha. She is seriously committed to his husband, and she always tries to find and grab a discount or free offers at shops. She doesn’t like her mother-in-law insulting her, but she respect her, but never forget a chance to get back to Maya :), but one thing, she doesn’t like to keep things organized and clean.

Roshesh - Momma’s boy, role is played by Rajesh Kumar, and have played it very well… He is a typical momma’s boy in a serial, listen to each and every word of his mom. He is irritated by his father Indravadan, Indravadan never miss an opportunity irritate him, He wants to be an actor, he loves to write lots and lots of speeches and poems, he plays a role of dog very well, and knows a language of dog, bhaw bhaw, but he is still bachelor because of her mother.

Sonya - She is a daughter of Indravadan and Maya, she is married, and she highly believes in spiritual activities, and amazingly whatever she says is always true ;).

Dushyant - He is a husband of Sonya, and he follows each and every step of her wife, he does what her wife tells her to do, he is a gadget freak, and he can explain any kind of problem in very simple and very nice manner, but don’t dare to ask him to explain you anything, but just watch him explaining. :) Role is played by Deven Bhojani, very well played, if I am not mistaken he is also director or producer of the serial.

It’s really nice serial to watch, try to catch just a one episode of it, and I am sure, you will fall in love with this tv serial instantly.
