Review : I purchased a Sansui Marathon 6 CD changer in 1996 with my first hard earned salary. Needless to say that after purchasing the marathon it has been I who has been doing the marathon by running from pillar to post to get the changer set right.

At that point of time the main competitor of this changer was the Philips Micro Monster which wasa single cd player and Philips was then a company with a flagging reputation. It has made up some lost ground since then. Within an year of purchase the system started giving problems which were rectified by the company service boy using ''jugaad'' and which I did'nt understand then.

Later the left channel also started sounding like a meek cat. The authorised service centre guys look at me in the same way a hungry lion looks at an adult cow and want to strip me off a cool 4-5000/- Rs. I would not suggest anyone to purchase any sansui product especially as regards its extremely poor after sales service.
