SANAM RE is a BOLLYWOOD MELODRAMA ROMANTIC movie.I am forced to say that its the same typical romantic bollywood movie with same borrowed script and scene from 1990s LOVE STORY.This movie proves an old theory that 'DONT JUDGE A BOOK FROM ITS COVER likewise DONT JUDGE A MOVIE FROM ITS TRAILER'.Its trailer seems to be promising but after watching it I can say that its script is weak and has so many loopholes.The script itself is so week and faulty that the cast wont save this movie from exit.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
Same GHISA-PITA love story with lack of script and strong story line.This is 2016 and the director borrowed the old LOVE STORY of 1990s with so many similar SCENE and DIALOGUES.It seems to be more a KIDS STORY rather than a MATURED LOVE STORY in which a KID can predict the whole story as there is no major twist.Its STORY is so PREDICTABLE that you cant bear the whole story and wait for the second half.FIRST HALF itself tells you the ENDING.Music is good and HEART TOUCHING as you can say that the whole movie rely on its MUSIC only.Its title song SANAM RE and HUA HAI AJJ PEHLI BAAR are really good.Its dialogue and the chief PUNCH LINE like "JAB TUMHARA HATH MERE HATH PE HOTA HAI NAH MUJHE PATA NAHI CHALTA TMHARA KAUN SA HAI AUR MERA KAUN SA".Dude we are in 2016 and our expectation is very high, if you delivered this type of dialogue in 2016 no one will going to tolerate it.
ABOUT THE CAST:
PULKIT SAMRAT acted as AAKASH and YAMI GAUTAM acted as SHRUTI are in lead role.The other co stars are URVASI ROUTELA as Mrs-POBLO and last but not the least RISHI KAPOOR as DADDU.In this movie PULKIT SAMRAT acted the role of confused soul who is confused about his decision and very much career oriented.Its almost 6 years we havnt seen him in any romantic film after FUKREY.He acted well with his slim and V shape body.He deliver well but his acting is not his carrer's best.YAMI GAUTAM performance is weak as she failed to deliver a good chemistry between her and PULKIT.The chemistry between them seems to be a KOREAN SERIES rather than a MATURED love story.We cant blame both of them as script has so many loopholes.URVASHI ROUTELA is the weakest link in this movie as she dont have any thing to do except showing her assets.RISHI KAPOOR as DADUU is playing the role of a LOVE GURU.He over acted so many times.He is not the same as he used to be in his early age.His acting is not so influencial.
ABOUT THE PLOT:
Story starts from a small town in UTTRAKHAND namely TANAKPUR.A hill station well known as one of the favourite HONEYMOON destination.AAKASH and SHRUTI love each other since childhood.Both of them well connected with each other and share epic moment with each other.They love to spent time in each others company.But destiny separates both of them as AAKASH move to a city in order to get higher education.He is a confused soul who choose his career over love.He settled in mumbai and struggling with his JOB.He is frustrated from his job as well as irritating BOSS.Suddenly he called up by his parents in order to sell the old studio of his grandfather as his DADDU used to be a well known PHOTOGRAPHER of his time.AAKSH visits his home town after so many years for the property settlement.His eyes and mind is poped up with so many old memories.He starts missing his TRUE LOVE.He repent on his decision that he took in his childhood.Again he move to city and suddenly he have to move to CANADA for some company work as he has to WOO Mrs- POBLO for company promotion and contract.URVASHI as POBLO is a divorcy and fall in love with AAKASH who wants to use her for his own benifits.Suddenly he meets his childhood love SMRITI and the rest is just a well typical bollywood love story.Will SHRUTI forgive her and again trust him.its still a mystry.You will come to know after watching it.
There is a big twist in the 2nd half but till than you have to keep patience and bear the pain.The movie starts with a promising note but in the middle goes off the track.I dont understand why the director introduce so many unnecessary character like AAKSH BOSE who is really irritating.It failed to glued to the screen as after some time you feel boared.It has no good dialogue and punch line.Only chief pick up lines.Its predictable script dont have any thing to offer to its audiance.Its MUSIC is the only best thing in this movie.You can watch it but dont expect too much from this movie.This movie is for all segment but my honest advice is to stay away from this movie.Its lack of heat and intense ROMANCE.Its not a love story its a child play.Dont waste your valuable time and money on this type of crap romantic movie.Just save your bucks for FITOOR as it is better than SANAM RE.As I can say its a MUSICAL HIT FILM but a FLOP SCRIPT.From this movie I learnt one thing-
'FALLING IN LOVE IS NOT JUST A MISTAKE ITS AN ERROR"
