I first tasted this lager in it's homeland, Spain. It played an important role in making my holiday an enjoyable one. It also made me make a fool of myself several times and certainly the all important trip to the bathroom when you don't feel well.
When I got home I realised that the local 'off license' sold this drink, all be it a bit more expensive than in Spain. That is the only time I can recall buying it here in England though, partly because there are cheaper alternatives and there are better lagers.
This doesn't mean that when I go back to Spain (which I will) I will only drink this. I also rate 'Estrella Damn' as a good Spanish lager. It will gurantee that when I drink it though, I will be back to my usual drunken self.
The main bit of advice I can come up with is that you have got to sample it once.
