Good but not so good!. Review on Samsung Star S5233

I am very fond of gadgets and automobiles. I have changed nearly 3 mobiles in one year. I had the samsung star for almost 8 months! I am a complete user.ie, I use all the features of the mobile. but for some reasons, I think tat the samsung star is not tat good a product. in the 8 months of usage, I used the phone as in stock for nearly 6 months. then, I started to flash it with different firmwares.

I can say only one thing. the samsung star is the best mobile tat simple phone users who need just a touch phone can buy! otherwise, if u download games or use the phone to its full capability, this is not the phone to go for! in this phone, u can't download good quality games as it doesn't support much graphics! the touch response though resistive, is not so good. the processing speed is slow, especially in the gallery. there's a lot of lag during scrolling when u have a big list. and when u put in a fully loaded 8gig micro SD in it, it becomes too slow!

But the pros of the phones attract most of the buyers. the display is gr8 for such a budget touch phone! the phone can run for 2 days after a full charge!(well, in my case, it drains at the end of one day itself!).

and if u use the phone only for calling and txting, the battery may last even for as long as 4-7days which is gr8 keeping in mind the fact that this is a touch phone! the sound quality is gr8 too!

I would wrap up my review saying only one thing. if ur a simple phone user, then the samsung star is for u! if not, u should have a look at nokia(5233, 5230(i hav this currently) or samsung's galaxy fit or pop!
