I want people to be aware that Samsung customer care has now become one of the worst. YOu can see a list of my horrorful experience and decide how Samsung is efficient.


I called customer care on 12th Dec 08 to register for a complaint. Complaint was registered, I was assured on 13th some one will call and come.


On 13th Evening a call came informing me that Samsung Computers broken down & they could not see the complaints until now. On Monday some on will give a call & come. (Samsung knows its best why they cannot work that week on sunday when their systems has a flaw and they were not able restore the same). it was accepted.


On Monday till 12 Noon no call came. I called the number from which the call came which was their CHENNAI branch service No. only to keep waiting paying to hear the music and at the end of the music, some one just lift the receiver and drop it back to hang it back. It did not happen once but more than 4 times Patiently I kept trying, on the 5th time, a most discourteous voice picked the phone saying Samsung (No Good morning, Good afternoon or any courteous, probably she was on too much pain to do that job). When I asked for Refrigerator service, once again the call was transfered after almost 15 minutes later (not an exageration) again the phone receiver was picked by Gnanasambandan who took my address and told me he will give a call back in 10 minutes. One hour no call came. Again I tried the number to go thru the same ordeal of handset getting picked and dropped.


I called the call center for more details, The lady who picked identified herself as Nimisha (as I heard her name) has no clue except like a parrot message that they will come. When I asked for Service Head number, She says she is not having the same. I admire the trainers of this company to handle such issues. Since they are on training to handle, they donot know the impact of such customers spreading wrong publicity on such episodes, spoiling new business opportunity for that company. I called back to the service office No. I dialled the customer care option directly, still the same receiver was picked and dropped. Amazing, probably Samsung recruit people to do this job in their service Dept.


After 30 minutes of my attempt, I got a person whom I asked for the Service Head No. He was kind enough to give the same as Shahjahan 98410 01985. I called more than 10 timed to this number since then to the time of writing this message in the last one hour, neither he picked my call nor he returned my call if he is driving or not able to pick my call at the time of repeated calls. This is my experience for a paid service, for which this company is going to charge me.
