Nice phone. Review on Samsung SGH - N500

I have bought a new mobile phone of Samsung which is in my opinion very attractive and supports your pockets also. Mobile phone is one of the most essential things now a days and for me it is very necessary. I had a Samsung SGH R220 which I gave to my mother. I think my new phone is just the next version of R220 with some features added on and without an antenna (it has an internal antenna). The most important about this phone is there are some terrific short cut keys which makes the navigation easy.

I told it before that this phone does have just some more characteristics of R220. The features of this phone are Phone book, Call Records, Messages, Voice functions, Tones, Settings, Organiser, Games & www services.Here the only additional feature is the voice function. Ok! It will be a defective review if I compare this with R220. Lets forget about the model.

The option Phone Book can be accessed from the right soft key. It contains both voice dial and written phone numbers. To dial a number from (0-9) your phone book just press the number few seconds; in case of location from 10 to rest just dial the location and press the # key.

Call Records just keeps the history of your missed calls, received calls, dialed calls, call time, call cost. This feature is totally related to your calls made by you. You can access the option dialed calls from the green key of the phone also.

Messages option contains voice mail, read accepted messages, write messages, preset message list, picture messages, broadcast, setup. Voicemail deals about the voice messages, broadcast option lets you broadcast your messages. Setup option gives you the chance to edit your message types. You can write messages directly from a short key of your phone. T9 English option is available in this version of Samsung. Except this ABC mode is also available, symbols can be used directly to compose a message.

Voice Function allows you to make voice dials in minimum sound free locations. This option gives you the chance to make voice dials. Except this option Voice memo, Voice command, Answer phone facility options are also available in this unique phone.

Tones option deals with the phone tones which contains three downloadable free spaces(in my phone now there is Main Hoon Na, Chot Dil Pe Lagi & a song from yuva). You can compose your tone(2) also, melody composer gives you the option. It has 10 SMS tones. To access the vibrator mode just press the #key 2 seconds.

Settings completely deals with the language, backlight, service light, auto redial, auto answer, caller id, key lock, greeting messages. Network services gives you the access to the call waiting, call diverting, network selection, line identification, closed user groups etc. Security settings deals with SIM password and user password of the phone. Service color contains the service light(has 5 colors:- Red, Green, Violet, Orange and Blue). This phone does have 5 mind-blowing screen savers. Only disappointment is that there is no logo system in this phone.

Organiser options does have scheduler, alarm, calculator, to do list, calendar, world time, clock. Scheduler option makes it easy to remember your essential appointments, alarm option is also very worthy.

This phone has 10 very attractive games. Apart from R220 this phone has 7 additional games such as, Vacteria, Puzzle I, Othello, Snake, Sniper, Racing, Black Jack, Roulette. Snake, Sniper, Racing games are quite interesting games. I am spending my leisure with this games.

This is a Wap phone. WWW Services gives you the option to make it Wap. Again the (i)/c option of the phone plays the part of short cut key to the network.

I have been using this phone for a month and I just fell in love with this phone. Tower catching power of this phone is quite unique.
