We felt that their after sales service is quite poor. They change the modals quite often. After selling their product they do not care about the customer. They try to solve the customers problem only during warranty period because they are bound to solve the problem during that period. After warranty period they escape from the problem with an intention that the customer will purchase a new item.
I had purchased a refrigerator 10 years back. There was some cooling issue in the refrigerator. I called the Samsung team and it was advised that the concern will be resolved very soon. They deputed a technician to my residence. Before checking he was more interested to know regarding the year of purchase. We told him the year of purchase. After that he said that a part was required to be changed. He said that he will revert after reaching back to office. When he reached back to office it was made confirmed to me that the part was not available with Samsung. They told me that there was no possibility of future availability of the part as well. I sent several mails in this regard to Head of Samsung Service and The C.E.O. of Ms.Samsung. Everybody kept quite. No senior official from C.E.O. Team contacted me. I even requested them to depute some senior technician to my place to re-inspect the problem. From Top to bottom nobody listened to my request and never deputed any senior technician for re-inspection. It was only the Manager CC, Gurugram who called me finally and she confirmed that some immediate steps would be taken to resolve the concern. But, she also did not depute the senior technician to re-inspect the refrigerator. I got her final reply after 3-4 days on 18th October' 2019 confirming in writing regarding non-availability of the part and no possibility of repair of the refrigerator.
After hearing this reply verbally and in written form from the Manager C.C. of Samsung, I went to a local expert in my vicinity. He immediately came and inspected the refrigerator thoroughly. There was some lose connection in the refrigerator as a result of which there was no uniform power supply inwards. By this way the problem could not be resolved by so called Samsung Technical Team from 11-10-2019 till 19-10-2019. This problem was resolved within half an hour by a local technician on 19-10-2019.
Any customer who thinks of purchasing Samsung refrigerator should think twice before purchasing such product. He / She should purchase the product only if he expects no after sales service from Ms. Samsung.
